Special interest support groups that prove the saying that “birds of a feather flock together”

Research conducted by The Hospital for Sick Children (Toronto) and the University of Alberta (Edmonton) using Ability Online’s communication facilities has shown that online support can extend the positive benefits of traditional off-line support groups and reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. For this reason, we also offer private e-communities free of charge to off-line support groups who do not have online communication capabilities.

If you are interested in speaking to us about setting up a private e-community for your group of youths or parents/caregivers affected by disabilities or chronic illnesses, please contact us at information@abiltiyonline.org
