Giving the Gift of Wings



Ability Online relies exclusively on the generosity of corporations, employee groups, foundations, community organizations and individuals to fund our valuable and unique programs.

Your support gives our members ability online.  It provides the opportunity to experience the world of online friendship, support, and skill development at a time when they most need to find hope, encouragement and friendship.

Our unique logo has its origins in some words of thanks uttered by a disabled child in the earliest days of Ability Online, when - on being introduced to the power of online communication for the first time – he said it made him feel like he had been granted wings; the possibilities of computing had released him from his all-too-earthly bonds, and allowed him to experience a measure of freedom he had never known before.  We thought that was a pretty cool image, and turned it into a logo.  The gift of wings has become the driving force of what we do – and why we do it.
